Random Acts of Senseless Fuckery

I went to observe a freshman science classroom today. It was fantastic, I hope that one day I will have a class something like this.

One thing that caught my eye was one of those cheesy posters that teachers put up on the wall. This one was sort of a mind teaser, you can find the original here True Colors from Mindware.

Anyway I've recreated the poster here. What your supposed to do is say the name of the color of each word out loud as fast as you can. I've tried it, and its not very easy.

I do have more important things to post, but right now, I don't have much time.

RED PURPLE GREY YELLOW

ORANGE BLACK RED GREEN

PINK YELLOW VIOLET BROWN

PURPLE BLACK BLUE WHITE

BLUE ORANGE GREEN PINK

GREEN GREY WHITE BROWN

WHITE ORANGE PURPLE RED

btw, is there any way to get new catagories added, I'm tired of having to keep picking "misc"

When I was in 8th grade we took a trip to Columbus, Oh to the science museum near OSU. They had us doing a bunch of these type things. I remember doing this one and the whole class laughing as we all read the words instead of saying the colors! It was a lot of fun!

ummm it should be a pull down menu with shitloads of options... I admit that once in a while I can't find something even close to fitting what I am writing but just take a swag at it man...

BTW I sucked ass trying to say the colors and not read the damn words....

Believe it or not, I can read the words perfectly . . . I wonder why that is?

you can read them, but can you say the colors of the words out loud, without just "reading" the words?

if so, you have better "eye-brain" coordination than I

Yes, I read them aloud . . . I'm a total spazz in pretty much every way . . . I may possibly have found my one "gift" . . . reading color words in a different color font.
